IRCA Competition Information 2019


Practice will be as follows:  (Intro/Dynamite 6-7pm, SLW 6-7:30pm)

           July 22nd-August 3rd: 

Monday - Friday 6-8pm—All Cheerleaders

           Aug 3-4th: 

First Game date and time TBD

           Aug 5th-Sept 1st:

                     Non Competition—Thursday 6-8 pm

                     Competition—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8 pm

           After Sept 1st:

                     Non Competition—Thursday 6-7 pm till last game

                     Competition—Tuesday Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8 pm.

Time will vary depending on school availability

Team Placement:

Girls will be placed on teams based on Interest In Competition.  We need to maintain each level with a minimum of girls for safety reasons.  Girls may be moved up a level to maintain safety In stunting/pyramids.  Team placement will emailed out by May 1st to everyone.  Interest In Competition must be determined by April 1st.  Please contact us with any questions you may have In relation to competition. 

Football Games: 

Start weekend of August 3-4th there are 8 games plus playoffs.

We will now be In the Illinois 8 Football League

Home Games will be at LW West (4 home / 4 away)

Girls will cheer side lines and halftime routine. 

Halftime routine will be their competition routine.

IRCA Competition:

           Competition dates to be determined after IRCA Board meeting In February

           Girls must be available for all competition dates.

Girls must be at all practices 2 weeks prior to each competition.

Excessive absences will result In being pulled from competition.

Girls will not be released from practice till all Mats are put away. 


Cheer Fittings:  Sun May 19th-Mon May 20th at Manhattan Village Hall 6-8 pm

           MANDATORY to be present at one of these days!!

           Girls are to come In bathing suits to try on uniforms/shoes/warmups

           Please see next sheet for cost of required Items.

           Items will not be ordered until they are paid for.

Cheer Dress Code:

Practice:  For safety of the Flyers and bases we ask you have your child In appropriate clothing for practice.  Lose clothing and skirts are not allowed as they can become caught up during stunting.  Silky shirts should not be worn.  Girls are expected to have on gym shoes/cheer shoes, cheer shorts, t-shirt with sports bra If needed underneath, no fake or long nails and NO Jewelry of any kind.  Each team will have a team shirt available at fittings It Is encouraged for girls to get one as they wear them often. Hair must be In a High Pony tail with no lose ends hanging out.


Patriot Intro/Dynamite Cost:

           Registration $125.00

           Patriots Hair Bow $22.00 (new design)


Patriot Cheer Cost: (SLW, LW, JV and Varsity)

Registration: $225.00 first child, $200 second child, $175 third child

Alumni Discount: $25 each child

Fundraiser: $110.00 each child

Due at fitting: 

Equipment Deposit:  $150 check (held, returned when uniform is returned)

Parent hours: $150. Check per Family

(held only cashed If hours were not completed)

           Navy Briefs:  $8.00

           Warm up Jacket with Name: $40.00 (same as last year)

           Warm up Pants: $25.00. (Same as last year—JV and Varsity required)

           Competition Shoes:  $50.00 (same shoe as last year)
